S17 = 17/2 * (2a + 16d)

17*(a + 8d)

17a + 136d

S16 = 16/2 * (2a + 15d)

8* (2a + 15d)

16a + 120d

S17- S16 = 17a +136d - 16a - 120d

a + 16d = a17

S17- S16 = a17
