Answer:-

 \sf {s}^{2}  + 9 = 0

 \sf \implies {s}^{2}  =  - 9

 \sf \implies s = \sqrt{ - 9}

 \sf \implies s = \sqrt{ - 1} \times  \sqrt{9}

 \sf \implies s = \sqrt{ - 1} \times   \pm 3

 \sf \implies s = \pm 3i

Note:-

  •  \sf i =  \sqrt{ - 1} (imaginary \: number)
