Given:
dimensions of the park 20×15.
L shaped flower bed width 1m
money spent on mannuring 1 the flower bed = Rs 45.
To find:
Money spend on mannuring the flower bed
Solution :
Area of park = length × breadth
20 × 15 = 300
dimensions of flower bed.
area of rectangle( 20×1 ) + area of rectangle (15×1) - area of square (1×1)
= 20+15-1 = 34
total cost of mannuring flower bed = area × cost per
= 34 × 45
= Rs1530
The cost spent on mannuring flower bed is equal to Rs 1530.
