Given:

dimensions of the park 20×15m^{2}.

L shaped flower bed width 1m

money spent on mannuring 1m^{2} the flower bed = Rs 45.

To find:

Money spend on mannuring the flower bed

Solution :

Area of park = length  × breadth

                   20 × 15 = 300 m^{2}

dimensions of flower bed.

area of rectangle( 20×1 ) + area of rectangle (15×1) - area of square (1×1)

= 20+15-1 = 34 m^{2}

total cost of mannuring flower bed = area × cost per m^{2}

                                                        = 34 × 45

                                                        = Rs1530

The cost spent on mannuring flower bed is equal to Rs 1530.
