Sachin throws a ball vertically upwards with a velocity of 20m/s. Calculate:
a)The height where velocity is minimum
b)Time taken to reach maximum height

Velocity is 0 (minimum) at maximum height
Maximum height = u^2 / (2g)
= 20^2 / (2 × 10)
= 20 m

(b)
v = u + at
0 = 20 + (-10)t
t = 2 seconds
Time taken to reach maximum height is 2 seconds
