why do earthworms come out during raining season

because during rainy day the water will trap the space between the soil. so the earth worm could not breath inside the soil. so they could!e oit

because when there is rain the rainwater seeps down inside the soil, where the earthworms live...now when there is water inside their habitat they need to come out of it because they can't survive inside water...and they come out of the soil and when the rainwater dries from their habitat then they go inside the soil again...
