Once a partridge was standing on the banks of a river when he saw a leaf floating on the water. He then saw an ant floating on the water. He immediately dropped a leaf for the ant to climb to safety. The ant thanked him and both went their separate ways.
Some days later, the very same ant saw a hunter aiming his bow at a sleeping partridge. The ant realized that the bird was the same one who had saved his life before. So, he went up the legs of the hunter and bit him so hard, making the hunter miss his target. The partridge woke up with the sound of the hunter crying in pain. He then realized the situation and woke up fully, flying away before the hunter could regain his composure. Thus, both had saved each others' lives.

Once upon a time, on the bank of the river, a partridge was sitting on the tree. It saw a ant flowing through the river, the ant was unable to swim as the river is forceful. The partridge helped the ant by placing a leaf on the river near ant. The ant climbed the leaf and partridge took the leaf to the land. The partridge saved the life of ant.
Later, one afternoon partridge was napping and a hunter with bow string was nearing partridge. The ant saw the hunter and bit the hunter. This alerted the partridge and it woke and flew away.
