Answer:

(i) The time taken to ride the d distance 2.5 hours  .

(ii) The distance cover by scooter at speed 30 km/h is 105 km .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The speed of the scooter = s = 30 km/h

The distance travel by scooter = d = 75 km

Let The time taken to ride the d distance = t hours

According to question

Time = \dfrac{distance}{speed}

t = \dfrac{d}{t}

∴ t = \dfrac{75}{30}

i.e t = 2.5 hours

So,The time taken to ride the d distance = t = 2.5 hours

Hence, The time taken to ride the d distance 2.5 hours  . Answer

(ii) Time taken to cover distance = 3 h + 30 min = T = 3.5 hours

Let Distance cover = d km

Speed of scooter = s = 30 km/h

Distance = speed × time

Or, d = s × T

or, d = 30 km/h × 3.5 h

 ∴  d = 105 km

So, The distance cover by scooter at speed 30 km/h = d = 105 km

Hence,The distance cover by scooter at speed 30 km/h is 105 km . Answer
