Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Saline gets pocket money from her father everyday.Out of the pocket money, she saves ₹30 on the first day and on each succeeding day she increases her saving by 500 paise at the end of every month salene purchase some biscuits ,Troffes and nuts from the amount that she saved and distributed these items to the needy children in school.

To find :

1) Find the amount saved by saline of 10th day

2) Find the total amount saved by saline In 30 days

3) What values are depicted by the act of salene

Solution :

Saving on first day ₹30=3000 paise.

Saving increase by 500 paise on each succeeding day.

Therefore, The savings will be

3000,3500,4000,..... form an A.P.

In A.P a=3000, d=500

1) The amount saved by saline of 10th day.

a_{n}=a+(n-1)d

a_{10}=3000+(10-1)(500)

a_{10}=3000+(9)(500)

a_{10}=3000+4500

a_{10}=7500

The amount saved by saline of 10th day  is Rs.75.

2) The amount saved by saline in 30 days.

S_{n}=\frac{n}{2}[2a+(n-1)d]

S_{30}=\frac{30}{2}[2(3000)+(30-1)(500)]

S_{30}=15[6000+(29)(500)]

S_{30}=15[6000+14500]

S_{30}=15[20500]

S_{30}=307500

The amount saved by saline in 30 days  is Rs.3075.

3) What values are depicted by the act of salene

Salene depict the arithmetic progression of her savings.
