Salt conducts electricity when dissolved in water, but solid salt or salt crystals doesn't conduct electricity. Why?​

Hey!,

When salt is put in water, the ions in it conduct electricity. In solid state, due to the forces of attraction electricity is not conducted

Answer :-)

Beacuse for the conductance of electricity, a substance must have ion (electron). But in solid or salts crystals do not have free ions so, they are not able to conduct electricity.
