Find the cost of the salt:

1 kg = Rs 13.50

10 kg = 13.50 x 10 = Rs 135

Find the number of packets packed:

Number of packets = 10 kg ÷ 500g

Number of packets = 10000g ÷ 500g

Number of packets = 20

Find the cost of packing:

1 pack = 25p

20 packs = 25 x 20 = 500p = Rs 5

Find the total cost:

Total cost = 135 + 5 = Rs 140

Find the profit:

Selling Price = Rs 155

Profit = 155 - 140 = Rs 15

Answer: The profit is Rs 15

Answer: Profit made Rs. 15

Step-by-step explanation:

CP Price of 1 kg of salt = Rs. 13.50

CP price of 10 kg salt = Rs.(13.50 x 10)

                                      =Rs. 135

SP price of 10 kg salt =Rs. 155

Packing cost of 500g salt = 25 paisa

Packing cost of 10 kg salt = (25 x 20 ) paisa

                                             =500p

                                             = Rs. 5

Total cost Price of 10 kg salt

=> Rs.135 + Rs.5 =Rs.140

Profit=  sell price - Total cost price

= Rs.155 - Rs.140

= Rs.15
