Mahatma Ghandhi found a perfect thing to unite the people and fight against British government which was salt.Salt March was famously known as 'Dandi March'.They formed the March to prepare the salt from the sea water in the costal village of dandi near gujrat.It was formed by Mahatma Ghandhi and his trusted volunteers.They walk from sabamati ashram to the costal place of Gujrat.They walked 240 miles in 24 days,10 miles a day.This march was based on Gandhian principle of non violence and self help.
