Explanation:

  When the sound waves are incident  on a surface of a denser medium as a wall.

Then, the sound waves exert a force on the wall and wall is rigid so that is exerts an equal force in opposite direction on the sound waves.

So, the sound waves will be reflect in opposite direction after incident.

The phase difference between the reflected and incident wave is \pi\radian .This phenomena is called reflection of sound waves. According to reflection law ,

The angle of reflection equal to the angle of incident.
