Answer:

Rs 1 coins = x

Rs 2 coins = y

Rs 5 coins = z

Ratio of Rs 2 to Rs 5 coins = 3:2:4

⇒ Rs 1 coins = 3x

⇒ Rs 2 coins = 2x

⇒ Rs 5 coins = 4x

Amount of Rs 1 coins = 1(3x)

= 3x

Amount of Rs 2 coins = 2(2x)

= 4x

Amount of Rs 5 coins = 5(4x)

= 20x

⇒ 3x + 4x + 20x = 135

27x = 135

x = 135/27

x = 5

Rs 1 coins = 3x

= 3(5)

= 15 coins

Rs 2 coins = 2x

= 2(5)

= 10 coins

Rs 5 coins = 4x

= 4(5)

= 20 coins

VERIFY:

First, we find the amount of each denomination of coins.

Rs 1 coins = 15(1)

= ₹15

Rs 2 coins = 2(10)

= ₹20

Rs 5 coins = 5(20)

= ₹100

₹15 + ₹20 + ₹100 = ₹135

₹135 = ₹135

LHS = RHS

Hence, verified

Hope it helps
