Sam's step measure :

  • 40 cm

Jared's step measure :

  • 85 cm

Nia's step measure :

  • 90 cm

LCM OF THEIR STEPS :

  • 40, 85, 90 : 6120 cm

So, Sam should walk :

  • \frac{6120}{40} \\
  • = 153 \: cm \\

Jared should walk :

  • \frac{6120}{85} \\
  • = 72 \: cm

Nia should walk :

  • \frac{6120}{90} \\
  • = 68 \: cm
