He will save Rs 3600 in a year.

Let the monthly income be Rs x.

Given, Samies monthly expense is Rs 150 less than his income.

So, monthly expense = Rs (x - 150)

When income is increased by Rs 100, his new income becomes = Rs (100 + x)

Expense is decreased by Rs 50, it becomes = Rs (x - 150 - 50) = Rs (x-200)

So, monthly savings = Income - Expense

= Rs (100 + x - x + 200)

= Rs 300

So, yearly savings = 12 × Rs 300 = Rs 3600
