Answer:

let Saminaas pocket money be x

she spent 3x/4 on chocolates

and the rest x/4 on chewing gum

the ratio of amount spent on chocolates and to that on chewing gum = (3x/4)/(x/4)

=3:1

Answer:

chocolate to chewing gums = 3:1

Step-by-step explanation:

let the total spending be x

money spend to buy chocolates = 3/4 X x = 3x/4

money spend to buy chewing gums = x - 3x/4

                                                            = 4x/4 - 3x/4 = x/4

hence, the required ratio of money spend on chocolate to chewing gums =

3x/4 : x/4 = 3/4 : 1/4 or 3:1
