By Sedimentation and Decantation we can separate water from sand. In this process the sand settles down when kept unshaken for a while the Large Sand Molecules settles at bottom and water can be separated by this process.
More To Know :-
• Filtration can be used to separate an insoluble solid and liquid.
• Filtration is also used to separate a substance from a mixture because one is insoluble in the solvent and the other is soluble. the separation is due to particle size.
