Given : Sandy works at a clothing store.

She makes $7 per hour plus earns 10% commission on her sales.

She worked 80 hours over the last two weeks and had a total of $2,715 in sales before taxes.

To Find :  how much she will earn in hourly wages and commission for those two weeks

Solution:

She makes $7 per hour

She worked 80 hours

Earning in hourly wages  = 7 * 80  = 560 $

10% commission on her sales.

Sales = 2715

Earning in commission = (10/100)2715 = 271.5 $

Earning in hourly wages   = 560 $

Earning in commission = 271.5 $

Total Earning = 560 + 271.5 =  831.5 $
