In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Film “Padmaavat” Alauddin khilji first saw the beauty of Padmavati in a mirror.

This film was released on January 25 ,2018 in 2D, 3D & IMAX 3D formats. This movie is based on the Epic poem Padmavat by Malik Muhammad Jayasi. Padmavat is produced by Bhansali productions and it is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

In the movie Padmavat Deepika played a character of Rani Padmini ,Ranveer as Alauddin Khilji and Shahid as the Rajput king Maharawal Ratan Singh.

Alauddin khilji was invited by Ratan Singh to his palace at chitoor. He was said that the queen Padmavati was a symbol of beauty. Padmavati was the wife of the ruler Ratan Singh.  

Alauddin accepted the invite and visited the palace at chitoor just to see the queen. When Alauddin asked Ratan singh about his wife, the king showed a mere reflection of the queen through a mirror.

Hence, Alauddin first saw the queen Padmavati through a mirror reflection at chitoor.
