so,

let the age of nidhu be x years

than ,

his brother sanju age will be = x+6 years

now ,

given that sum of their ages is 28.

so,

x+(x+6) = 28

2x+6 = 28

2x = 22

x = 11 years

hence , sanju's age is 11 years

and , nidhu's age is x+6 = 11+6 = 17 years .
