Step-by-step explanation:

27(3/4)= 20.25

10(1/2)= 5

20.25+5= 25.25

50-25.25= ₹24.75

Therefore she will get ₹24.75 back.

The amount of money she will get back is Rs. 10\frac{7}{4}

Given:

Sanya bought fruits worth Rs 27 3/4 and vegetables worth Rs 10 1/2

She gave a fifty-rupee note to the shopkeeper.

To Find: The money will she get back.

Solution:

Amount spent on fruits = Rs. 27\frac{3}{4}

                                        = Rs. \frac{111}{4}

Amount spent on fruits = Rs. 10\frac{1}{2}

                                         = Rs. \frac{21}{2}

Amount spent in total = Rs. \frac{111}{4}  + \frac{21}{2}

                                      = Rs. \frac{111 + 42}{4}

                                      = Rs. \frac{153}{4}

Total amount given = Rs. 50

∴ Remainder amount = Rs. 50 - \frac{153}{4}

                                   = Rs. \frac{200 - 153}{4}

                                   = Rs. \frac{47}{4}

                                   = Rs. 10\frac{7}{4}

Hence, the amount of money she will get back is Rs. 10\frac{7}{4}
