Sara and Juan conducted an experiment to test which soil would be BEST for growing plants. They used sand, silt, and clay. They also made a mixture of soil using equal parts of sand, silt, and clay. They planted bean seeds in four pots and placed the pots in the sunlight. They watered the pots every day and tracked the seed germination and plant growth. At the end of the experiment, the seed in the pot of silt grew fastest.

Which conclusion can be drawn from the experiment

Answer:the plant in silt will grow faster

Explanation:this is because sand permits all the water to flow through it and clay holds most of the water. Sand doesn't contain any nutrient for growth of soil and sand so prevents growth of plants. Similar is with clay too. However silt deposits are themselves mixture of good soil and nutrients. They also can. Hold good amount of water. Mixing all them will give u a mixture which will be good in water holding but nutrients would be very less(since ex-1 kg silt contains 500 nutrients but 3kg mixture contains only 500 GM nutrients.

I hope u got it. Plz forgive if something's wrong
