Sarah has 745 red balls and 228 white balls. Asiya has thrice as
many balls as Sarah. Asiya packs her own balls equally into
7 packets. How many balls are there in each packet?

total no. of balls sarah has= 745+228=  1002

no. of balls asiya has= 1002 x 3 = 3006

no. of balls in 1 packet = 3006 ÷ 7=428 with remainder 4

428 balls
