Given :-

Spending of sara= 4000

Percentage of spent money = 80%

To Find

We have to find the salary and the saving of sarah

Solution :-

Let the salary Sarah be x

Now 80% of her salary = 4000

:\implies\sf\ x\times 80\%= 4000\\ \\ \\ :\implies\sf\ \ x\times \dfrac{80}{100}= 4000\\ \\ \\ :\implies\sf\ 80x= 4000\times 100\\ \\ \\:\implies\sf\ x= \dfrac{\cancel{4000}\times 100}{\cancel{80}}\\ \\ \\:\implies\sf\ x= 50\times 100\\ \\ \\ \underline{\boxed{\sf\ x= 5000}}

\underline{\therefore\sf Salary \ of\ Sarah= 5000Rs}

Saving = Salary - Spending

Saving = 5000-4000

→ 1000

\underline{\dag\it\ Saving \ of\ Sarah= 1000Rs}

Answer:

Given

  • Spending money by Sara = ₹4000
  • Percent of spent Money = 80%

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

To Find

  • Salary of Sarah
  • Saving money from his salary

  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Solution

Suppose his salary is ₹ "x"

And she spends 80% of the salary.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So,

Firstly we Find the Salary

  \red\implies \sf \pink{x × 80 \%} = \purple {4000}

 \red\implies \sf\pink{x ×  \dfrac{80}{100}}  =  \purple{4000}

  \red \implies \sf \pink{\dfrac{80x}{100}} =  \purple{4000}

  \red\implies \sf \pink{80x} = \purple {4000 \times 100}

 \red \implies \sf \pink{80x} = \purple {400000}

  \red\implies  \sf\cancel \dfrac \pink{400000} \pink{80}

 \red \implies \sf \pink{₹ \: 5000}

  \large\boxed{ \frak \purple{Salary} =  \pink{₹ 5000}}

  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Now we Find the saving money of sarah

Saving = Salary - Spent Money

So,

 \red  \implies \sf \purple{Saving} =  \pink{5000 - 4000}

 \red \implies \sf \purple{Saving} = \pink {₹ \: 1000}

  \Large\boxed {\frak \pink{Saving} = \purple {₹ \: 1000}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Therefore

The Salary of Sarah is 5000 rupees.

And his saving is 1000 rupees.
