Gɪᴠᴇɴ :-

  • Sarans monthly salary = 80% of Sohan's = 33% of Sivam's.
  • Sohan's salary is Rs.7000.

Tᴏ Fɪɴᴅ :-

  • The difference between the salaries of Saran and
  • Sivam ?

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

→ Sarans monthly salary = 80% of Sohan's = 33% of Sivam's.

→ Sarans monthly salary = 80% of 7000 = (80 * 7000)/100 = Rs.5600 .

_____________

Now,

Sarans monthly salary = 33 % of sivam's .

→ 5600 = 33 % of sivam's .

→ 5600 = (33 * sivam)/100

→ sivam salary = (5600 * 100)/33 ≈ Rs.16970

______________

Therefore,

Diff. b/w the salaries of Saran and Sivam = 16970 - 5600 = Rs.11370 (Ans.)

Answer:

  • Saran's Salary = 80% of Sohan's
  • Saran's Salary = 33% of Sivam's
  • Sohan's Salary = Rs. 7000

\underline{\bigstar\:\textsf{Saran's Monthly Salary :}}

:\implies\sf Saran=80\%\:of\: Sohan\\\\\\:\implies\sf Saran =\dfrac{80}{100} \times 7000\\\\\\:\implies\sf Saran = 80 \times 70\\\\\\:\implies\sf Saran= Rs.\:5600

✩ As Monthly Salary of Saran's is equal to 80% of Sohan & is equal to 33% of Sivam.

\underline{\bigstar\:\textsf{Sivam's Monthly Salary :}}

:\implies\sf 80\%\:of\:Sohan=33\%\:of\:Sivam\\\\\\:\implies\sf 80 \times 7000 = 33 \times Sivam\\\\\\:\implies\sf \dfrac{560000}{33}  = Sivam\\\\\\:\implies\sf Sivam \approx Rs.\:16970

\rule{150}{1.5}

\underline{\:\textsf{Difference between Salary :}}

\dashrightarrow\sf\:\: Difference=Sivam-Saran\\\\\\\dashrightarrow\sf\:\:Difference=Rs.\:16970-Rs.\:5600\\\\\\\dashrightarrow\underline{\boxed{\textsf{Difference = Rs. 11,370}}}

\therefore\:\underline{\textsf{Diff. b/w Sivam \& Saran salary is \textbf{Rs. 11,370}}}.
