Given: Saroja's collection of stamps is 25% more than that of Sarita.

To find: We have to find by what percentage sarita's collection is less than Sarah's collection.

Solution:

To determine the percentage of sarita's collection is less than Sarah's collection we have to follow the below steps as follows-

Let Sarita's collection of stamps be x.

Saroja's collection of stamps is 25% more than that of Sarita.

So, Saroja's collection is as follows-

x +x \times   \frac{25}{100}  \\ x +  \frac{x}{4}  \\  \frac{5x}{4}

Thus Sarita's collection is less than Saroja's collection by-

 \frac{ \frac{5x}{4 } - x}{ \frac{5x}{4} }  \times 100 \\  \frac{x}{4}  \times  \frac{4}{5x}  \times 100 \\  = 20\%

Thus Sarita's collection is less than Saroja's collection by 20%.
