Sarojini Naidu’s ‘The Gift of India’ can be read as an anti-war
poem. Do you agree? Why?
Answers
Answer: I don't agree.
Explanation:
"The Gift of India "is not a matter of war or anti-war poem, its about the distruction the UK caused India during the British Raj , it's simply a poem to remind both Indian and British people that what the Indians went through --
All our treasures were LOOTED, our inocent men and women were exploited and killed, children were starved to death.
So,the Britishers should acknowledge the fact and be grateful to us.
It reminds us of the losses of our brothers lives who faught for the WARs which were never ours.
Conclusion:
If you are a student who is about to write this in an exam,PLEASE DON'T,you will not get good marks because our education system is broken.
What I'll suggest is to write it as an Anti war poem you will fetch good marks.
