So, this can be reduced by educating the girls and this is possible only when the people understand their importance. The government has launched various slogans like"Beti bachao,Beti Padhao" this may make a positive impact on the mindsets of the people. People have this question that why to educate girls but we must never forget that education is the right of every citizen so they must also have their chance.
India's position has been deteriorated for females.Due to various malpractices the sex ratio has immensely deteriorated in states like Haryana, Delhi whereas States like Kerala have a high sex ratio due to literacy rates of females. People think that getting a girl is burden for them because they always have the tension for marriage and giving dowry to her father in law. Nowadays the condition has improved in urban areas whereas,in rural areas only boys have access towards education, while girls perform household activities like cooking, cleaning the house, etc. Crimes like dowry, sati, child marriage, theft, kidnapping, untouchability should be completely banned. Government schools should be opened for very girl of India at free or very low fees.People should respect them as a human cause 'she' is a sister, a Friend, a mother. So, please give them their part of chance. Hope for a better future of India.
SO PLEASE GUYS GIVE GIRLS THEIR CHANCE TOWARDS EDUCATION.
Save Girl
The struggle of a girl child begins even before the day she is conceived. In India, female foeticide is a worrying practice, as cheap abortion technology allows households to exercise their preference for sons over daughters. She is ‘lucky’ if she is allowed to be born. Even after birth, the girl child faces discrimination and oppression. She is not provided with proper nutrition compared to her male siblings, her education is not given much importance and in many cases, parents prefer that their sons continue schooling, and want their daughters to stay at home and do household work.
After looking at weak statistics of the girls in the nation , PM modi began Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme .
Literally meaning ‘Educate the Girl Child, Save the Girl Child’ the Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao Scheme is an ambitious scheme of the Government of India which is intended to generate massive awareness, improvement of quality of welfare services for females and helping them (girls and women) access these services better. Introduced in October of 2014, the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Scheme goes on to address the declining Child Sex Ratio in the country. The scheme is being rolled out through pan-India campaigns with focus on 100 worst-performing districts in terms of CSR. There is an urgent need to change this archaic mindset of the patriarchal Indian society which views girls as liabilities. It needs to be established that girls are in no way less than boys. When given the right chances to nurture their talent and skills, they have it in them to excel in different areas of life. It is therefore imperative that both government and non-government organizations work in cohesion to spread the message of saving and educating the girl child.
