India is a diverse country, where people belong to various cultural and historical backgrounds therefore it is referred to as land of unity in diversity. People share a common thing within them that is love, affectionate and care for the country. Due to social and customary believe girls don't get the same opportunities as boys. Girls are an asset to the country's future. But due to various malpractices like female foeticide the birth rate of girls is decreasing. People must understand that their would be no male without a female. We know that the literacy rate of females is far less as compared to that of males.
So, this can be reduced by educating the girls and this is possible only when the people understand their importance. The government has launched various slogans like"Beti bachao,Beti Padhao" this may make a positive impact on the mindsets of the people. People have this question that why to educate girls but we must never forget that education is the right of every citizen so they must also have their chance.
India's position has been deteriorated for females.Due to various malpractices the sex ratio has immensely deteriorated in states like Haryana, Delhi whereas States like Kerala have a high sex ratio due to literacy rates of females. People think that getting a girl is burden for them because they always have the tension for marriage and giving dowry to her father in law. Nowadays the condition has improved in urban areas whereas,in rural areas only boys have access towards education, while girls perform household activities like cooking, cleaning the house, etc. Crimes like dowry, sati, child marriage, theft, kidnapping, untouchability should be completely banned. Government schools should be opened for very girl of India at free or very low fees.People should respect them as a human cause 'she' is a sister, a Friend, a mother. So, please give them their part of chance. Hope for a better future of India.

Girls are equally as important as boys in the society to maintain the social equilibrium. Few years ago, there was huge reduction in the number of women in comparison to the man. It was so because of the increasing crimes against women such as female foeticide, dowry deaths, rape, poverty, illiteracy, gender discrimination and many more.
