we have to save water each day  to live in today,s life.
we can save water in many ways here are some solutions;-
1 save water from your taps 
2 check your plumbing for leaks, especially leaking toilets and faucets
3 install a water meter
4 wash your car in the lawn so that even plants can get there food
5 maintain your sprinklers or irrigation 
6 do less laundry
7 take short showers 
8 turn off the tap while brushing your teeth
9 do not let kids to play with water 
10 use minimum amount of water needed for a bath
11 don,t let water run while shaving or washing face
12 recycle the water used for washing clothes to flush the toilet
13 use plants which requires less  water  to grow
14 collect rainwater for your garden
15 use broom instead of hosepipe etc
so these are some ways to save water. If we  follow them sure there will be no scarcity  of water in today,s life .

Water is necessary for life. Water is needed for domestic, agricultural and industrial purposes.

Three-fourth of Earth's surface is covered by water bodies. 97 per cent of this water is present in oceans as salt water and is unfit for human consumption. Fresh water accounts for only about 2.7 per cent. Nearly 70 per cent of this occurs as ice sheets and glaciers n Antarctica and other inaccessible places. Only one per cent of fresh water is available and fit for human use. So it is very important to conserve this precious resource. And yet we are contaminating the existing water resources with sewage, toxic chemicals and other wastes. Increasing population and rapid urbanisation has led to over-use of water resources leading to water pollution and scarcity.
