Crackers are seen as a part of celebration. But there are some downsides too.

→ Burning Crackers causes pollution. Crackers are made using do different types of chemicals. These chemical, on combustion, produce some harmful gases sometimes.

→ Crackers can cause fire. Crackers, of mishandled, can go into someone's house and burn it down.
They can also burn down a grass field. Rocket crackers usually do this.

→ Crackers can harm people, animals and can cause damage to vegetation.
No cracker is ever guaranteed to be completely safe. There's always a risk factor involved. The cracker may blast directly in your hand. If Crackers somehow go into water bodies, their chemicals pollute it too.

Why do we burst crackers? Just for seeing some light and hearing some loud sound? And then destroy nature?

Can't we say no to crackers for our own, and nature's safety? Will it be good to cause damage to others while we are celebrating? No. It's better to stay without crackers.
