Even though Zinc is a metal and is an element of d-block family,it is not considered to be a part of Transition metals.Zinc has no unpaired electrons in its d orbital and has a stable fully filled d orbital state.Hence,due to the absence of unpaired electron in Zinc,it can show no specific colouration in its salts.All ...
