ETS:
- ETS is Electron transport chain.
- It is the final step of the aerobic respiration process which involves the production of enough amount of energy from the NADH and FADH produced and leads to the utilization of Oxygen to form water molecules.
- The ETS starts from the acceptation of hydrogen from the NADH by Ubiquinone which produces Ubiquinone hydride.
- This is in turn taken by cytochrome B which is then taken by Cytochrome C and then by Cytochrome A and then by Cytochrome A3.
- From cytochrome A3, the oxygen molecule takes the hydrogen to produce water.
