There is no problem in students having long holidays until or unless they do constructive work throughout their holidays. If students are just holding on their laptops or smart phones to play games the whole day, it wouldn't be called a constructive work. But still everything which is large in quantity is bad for anyone and so are the holidays. The vacations must be long but not as a lifetime. The days must be equally filled with fun, recreational activities and studies too. And that is the spirit of the vacations.
