According to the story the schools in the contemporary times are much more fun than the futuristic schools shown in the story. The contemporary schools are in buildings where students come and study together in classrooms. A human teacher teaches using teaching aids. Apart from learning, children play together and share views, ideas, study material, etc. These things make the schools quite fun-filled.

However, the futuristic school shown in the story consisted of a room at home, having a computer programmed according to the age and caliber of child. The computer taught, gave homework, and conducted tests. This learning from mechanical computer was so boring.
