Science is blessing or a curse?

Science is blessing. It is very useful for us. If you see there are many advantages in science. Without science there is nothing. Such as radio's, computers,laptops, machines which saves time and energy, calculators ,etc,. But it is the mind set of the people who are misusing it. Disadvantages such as sound pollution , air pollution, water pollution, earth pollution. Pesticides which cause severe harm to the soil. Toxic chemicals whuch mix in water bodies causes tge death of marine animals. So, it depends on the way which we use it. As far as my concern scuence is blessing. But we using is wrong way. So finally science is blessing.

if the ancestors of man were to wake up after their long sleep of centuries, then they would be amazed to see the today's world. This amazement is just because of the rapid development in science, it has changed the world beyond recognition. The benefits conferred by science are so numerous and wonderful.

in the field of medicine and surgery, it has worked wonders. It has given eyes to the blind and life to the person who is about to die , ear to the deaf and relief to the sufferers. Terrible and serious disease like small pox, chicken pox and typhoid have been conquered. Plastic surgery can transform an ugly woman to a beautiful queen. Heart transplants are now possible. even today the gender of the particular person can also be changed.

Today man can fly like bird in the air, swim like fish in the water and travel on land at a very high speed. Now , Man has also reached the moon. Science has revolutionised the means of communication. Machines have released man from drudgery and from unintelligent and dangerous work.

But still nobody can say that science is a blessing. No doubt, science has given us both power and knowledge but it has failed to give us wisdom. science advances but the all thing which make our life worth living are neglected.

indeed science is more a curse than a blessing. so long as science continues to be the handmaid of war, civilisation is bound to be dark.

If we see it's both merits and demerits ,it has both...so it's difficult to declare that it's a curse or a blessing
