One of the counter argument that can be used for against the use of animal models is that animal lives are as important as the human lives. We are disturbing nature by using enormous number of animal models in our studies and killing them.

However, one can not deny the fact that many of the deadly diseases are being cured today only because of the lab experiments being done on the lab models.
