Ophiophagus Hannah is the scientific name of king cobra.
King cobra is also known as Hamadryad. As it is included in one of the most venomous species, it is known as Elpaide familiar. Nowadays, king cobras being decreased. But yes, in all venomous species of snakes, longest snakes are king cobra. They may have their length to 18 feet long. Hence, The King Cobra is the largest venomous snake in the world.
King cobras do eat other small snakes like pythons (small), rat snakes, also including poisonous i.e. poisonous snakes, they are called as Snake-Eater. In Greek, Snake Eater is meant by Ophiophagus. That's why, the scientific name of king cobra is Ophiophagus Hannah.
Life Span of king cobra may include 18-20 years. They create a deadly, (hazardous) venom to catch their prey slightly.
