A must be sodium(Na)
and B should be magnesium (Mg)
out of them sodium has highest metallic property ( 1st group element)

the element having atomic no 8 is oxygen(O)
if Na reacts with O
Na2O will be formed

if Mg reacts with O
MgO will be formed
