Hey !!!
secA - tanA = m -------------1)
by using rationalising process
1/m = 1/secA-tanA ×secA +tanA/secA+ tanA (multiplying by secA + tanA on numerator and denominator)
1/m = secA + tanA/sec²A - tan²A
1/m = secA + tanA/1
1/m = secA + tanA --------------2)
if we substracting equation 2nd to 1st equation .. then we get
we get .. sec¢ - tan¢ -( sec¢ + tan¢ ) = m - 1/m
-2tanA = m- 1/m
-tanA = 1/2(m²-1/m )
tanA = 1/2m ( 1 - m²)

Hope it helps !!!
