Answer :

Secθ + Tan θ = p ...............(i)

By Trigonometric Formula

= Sec²Ф - tan² Ф = 1

= ( SecФ + tan Ф )( secФ - tanФ ) = 1   [a² - b² = ( a + b )( a - b )]

=  p × ( sec Ф - tan Ф ) = 1 [ from ( 1 ) ]

= SecФ  - tan Ф = 1/p

Hence The answer is 1/p
