here is ur answer.....!!!!!!

using identity.
1 + tan² X= sec² X

sec² X - tan² X= -1
(sec X - tanX) (sec X + tan X )=1
(sec X - tan X) 7 = 1
(sec X - tan X) = 1/7
---------------------------------------
Answer =(sec X - tan X) = -1/7
---------------------------------------

we know ,
1 + tan { }^{2}x = sec {}^{2} x     then, \\ sec {}^{2} - tan {}^{2} = 1 \\ (secx - tanx)(secx + tanx) = 1 \\ secx - tanx = \frac{1}{7}
