The Heisenberg uncertainity principle is a physical law that forms part of quantum mechanics. It says that the more precisely you measure the position of a particle, the less precisely you can know it's motion (momentum or velocity). And the more precisely you measure a particle's motion, the less precisely you can know its position. 

IMPORTANCE:the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle only applies to those things that we can't readily observe. We can't apply Newtonion physics on the objects which are small or the objects which can't be seen with naked eye. If we are talking about particles like elctron proton & neutron , classical physics will fail here. That's the main reason Heisenberg's Uncertainty principle is so famous & a pivot to the Quantum mechanics.
