Answer:

We know that:

sec Ø - tan Ø = 1

=> (sec Ø + tan Ø)(sec Ø - tan Ø) = 1

=> p(sec Ø - tan Ø) = 1

=> sec Ø - tan Ø = 1/p

  • Answer:

sec x + tanx=p

sec x-tan x=?

as we know that ...

(sec2x -tan2x) =1

( sec x- tanx)(secx +tanx)=1

here we know that secx+tanx=p.. we put here p

(secx-tanx)p =1

p move on other side..

sec x -tan x=1/p..

hope it's helpfull for you..☺
