sec17= cocec(90-17)=cocec73 ..(1)

Like this

tan68=cot(90-68)=cot22 ....(2)

We know the standard formula is

Sin²@+cos²@= 1

Then

Cos²44+ sin²44=1

Cos²44= 1-sin²44

Then sin44= cos(90-44)=cos46

So cos²44=1 - cos²46 ... (3)
