Second ionization energy of an atom is always higher than its first ionization energy. Explain.

this is bcoz of internuclear repulsions among the atom

the second ionisation energy is higher than the first because of internal repusion ..when we give first time energy then it is less of second because at time repulsion is also help but when some particle come out then repulsion decreases hence energy reuired at second is more
