=> 3 x = ( 1 / 3 ) y + 48
Multiplying whole equation by 3 .
=> 9x = y + 144
Putting y = 56 - x , in it , we get,
=> 9x = 56 - x + 144
=> 9x + x = 56 + 144
=> 10 x = 200
=> x = 20
Now , y = 56 - x
Putting x = 20 , in it , we get,
y = 56 - 20
y = 36
