The statement given is false.

Due to the implementation of Right to Information act in 2005, the people in the country are able to know the details regarding every single step of government or any flaws or delays in any case for the matter. Hence this has increased the transparency of the government along with safety and belief in reforms.

Hence this act proved to be a boon to many citizens in our country.

Hope it helped !

The RTI is an opposite to the Official Secrets Act. It is true that the Government is conducting its affairs in even more secrecy.

This is because Right to Information Act allows the people to question the government and its proceedings.

So if it has to keep doing the espionage missions, it has to act in secrecy.
