Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1)as the area of equilateral triangle = side^2 *(root3/4)

here, 2root3  = side^2 (root3/4)

root3 will cancel,

2=side^2/4

2*4 = side^2

8=side^2

root8 = side

2)Use Pythagorean theorem  a^2 +b^2 =c^2

c = 5(root2)

The triangle is right and isosceles , so a = b

a^2 +a^2 = (5root2)^2

2a^2 = 25*2

a^2 = 25

a = 5

so the length of other sides are 5 cm and 5 cm

hala mate,

1:    a≈2.15

2:  Use Pythagorean theorem  a^2 +b^2 =c^2

     c = 5(root2)

     The triangle is right and isosceles , so a = b

      a^2 +a^2 = (5root2)^2

      2a^2 = 25*2

      a^2 = 25

      a = 5

      so the length of other sides are 5 cm and 5 cm

hope it helps!!

madhav2524: thanks
