Section A - Reading (10 marks). Read the passage carefully and answer the following questions. Once upon a time there was a little girl. Her grandmother gave her a little riding hood of red velvet, which suited her so well that she would never wear anything else; so she was always called 'Little Red Riding Hood'. One day she was going to her grandmother's house in the woods when she met a wicked wolf. ''Where are you going so early, Little Red Riding Hood?" "To my grandmother's. ''Where does your grandmother live, Little Red Riding Hood?'' 'A good quarter of a league farther in the wood,' replied Little Red Riding Hood. He cunningly asked her to pick flowers for her grandmother and when she went deeper into the woods, he went to her grandmother's house. Opening the door, he leaped on her grandmother's bed and devoured her. When Little Red Riding Hood entered the house, the wolf sprang out of bed and swallowed her. Having satisfied his appetite, he went back to bed and fell asleep.
